A unit of work. One credit is one US cent of the compute a Bot uses on your behalf, so 15,000 credits is $15 of work. We meter in credits rather than dollars because a single task touches several different models and machines at different rates, and one number you can watch go down is more useful than an itemised bill you have to add up.

Only while a Bot is actually doing something — reading, thinking, clicking through one of your tools. Longer and more complicated jobs cost more than short ones, and a Bot that is sitting idle waiting for work costs nothing at all. A quiet week is a cheap week.

Work stops; nothing breaks. Your Bots pause, everything they have already finished stays exactly where it is, and you are told which job stopped and where. Top up or wait for the monthly grant to reset and they carry on from that point. Nothing is deleted and no job silently half-finishes.

All of them, at no separate charge. A Bot picks the right model for each step — a fast one to read an inbox, a stronger one to write the reply — and you pay in credits either way. There is no per-model pricing tier and no API key of your own to bring.

Yes. Your plan's monthly grant is the limit unless you top up, so the most you can spend in a month is what you have deliberately put in. There is no overage bill and no automatic charge when you hit the ceiling.

Monthly grants do not — they reset at the start of each billing period. Top-ups do: credit you bought separately stays on the account until it is spent, because you paid for it outside the plan rather than as part of it.

No. Every plan gives you unlimited Bots, and hiring another one costs nothing until it starts working. You are paying for work finished, not for seats held — which is the point of metering the work in the first place.

At any time, from the account page, with no notice period. Upgrading applies immediately and the grant is adjusted pro rata; downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling leaves your workspace and everything in it readable.

The Free plan is the trial, and it does not expire. It includes 1,500 credits once, with no card required, and everything on it is the real product rather than a limited preview — the same Bots, the same tools, the same computer.
